All in a day’s work…
A lot of the scenes we publish here go into real depth about the feelings of the characters involved. One of the ways we sometimes categorise fantasies is by the emotional responses of their spankees: are they enthusiastic, reluctant, defiant, contrite?
We spend less time talking about the inner lives of the people doing the spanking, but there’s plenty of range there too. Sometimes they’re disappointed, sometimes they’re aroused. Sometimes the spanking comes from a place of love; in other fantasies it might seem as though the dominant partner is genuinely angry. It’s not so often the centre point of the story, but we generally depict our tops as feeling something.
But what if they weren’t?
This week we’re publishing the second part of the Strict Prison 4 series, in which Pandora is returned to her shared cell where she is to sit and watch as her cellmate Amy is tied down and caned relentlessly. The star of the show is the caning itself, and on the other end of that cane are two prison guards who both seem almost completely dispassionate. The punishment is severe, but the people giving it are cold. Clinical. Detached.
The viewer is left with the prickling notion that no matter how much Amy kicks and screams and begs, the two guards are more or less just…at work. For her, it’s a whirlwind of sensation and emotion and agony; for them, it’s the next thing on a to-do list.
We love an expressive top, and exploring complex emotional dynamics between dyads is one of our favourite things to do. There’s something incredibly hot about this level of grim detachment every once in a while, though. You can cry all you like, but it changes nothing.
