Not for the First Time

“Not for the first time”, our narrator begins, “I find myself in detention”. Through long, hard experience, she knows precisely what this will mean: a boring essay and a long wait while she wonders if she ought to have chosen the spanking instead.

As she picks and plans her essay, she finds that she can’t get the spanking she might have had out of her mind. Every historical figure she considers as a topic suddenly becomes a keen lover of the cane, and she finds herself pondering the importance of the Regimental Slipper to British military history.
