As spanking aficionados ourselves, we like to feature a wide range of implements in our films. Bare hand spanking and canes are probably our most-used tools, of course, but we’ve got a bit of everything: paddles, belts, riding crops, floggers, hairbrushes, tawses, rulers and the occasional wooden spoon.
There’s something a bit special about leather, isn’t there? It has a certain smell, a certain texture. New leather is polished and stingy, but with age and use a leather implement becomes softer and more supple and packs more of a thud. The pointed ends of a tawse give a sharp, sudden kind of pain; the click of a belt-buckle before a beating adds a frisson to any encounter.
A razor strop is a flexible leather strap designed for the polishing of blades. They’re a little archaic now in the age of disposable razors, but once upon a time you’d find them hanging on every bedroom wall - in easy, convenient reach. Many of them have a metal loop on the end to make them easier to mount; ours doesn’t, for safety reasons (the bite that would add when spanking would be actively unethical), but it still has the classic polished wooden handle.
There’s a very particular feel to the razor strop. Leather paddles are heavy and rigid; tawses have split tails; belts tend to be much narrower. A strop is broad, flexible and supple, often soft with age and use but no less punishing for it when applied to the backside.
Rebecca Belacqua hadn’t experienced one of these until this week’s shoot - and she seems to take to it pretty quickly. She kicks and squirms beautifully, both performer and character wriggling and wincing under Kelley May’s hand. There’s a lovely moment in the backstage extras where Kelley mentions how much she’d been enjoying her co-star’s reactions; “I kept having to remember that I’m her mother in this scene, I can’t look at her like that!”
I, too, have always loved being beaten with leather - so I particularly took to this scene, and should you share my predilections I’m sure you’ll agree.
One of the beautiful things about relationships with an element of domestic discipline is that problems can be solved almost as soon as they’ve arisen. There’s little chance for one partner to let a minor niggle fester until it’s grown into a major issue, because there’s a system for that: both the dominant and the submissive partner know how to address these things.
Overtly, of course, the resolution is in the spanking itself - a punishment delivered as a response to thoughtlessness or poor manners or the breaking of a rule. There’s a lot to be said for it: it’s a bonding, intimate moment for both parties, something that creates endorphins and draws people together and lets everyone work through their tensions and stresses. A physical connection like that can go a long way to heal an emotional rift, and presenting it as a punishment lets the problem feel fully resolved.
I think there’s more to it than only that, though.
This week’s release starts with Carlos coming to Pandora with his apologies, his admissions and his concerns. He tells her that he understands now why his actions hurt her, and that he’s sorry; she explains what bothered her the most, and gives him a chance to listen and respond. This fictional couple’s domestic discipline dynamic is the heart of this film and the ensuing spanking is great fun to watch - but in real life the stuff that comes before it, the bit where they talk openly and honestly and share their deeper feelings about what went down the night before, would be a truly healthy and important thing.
All that being said, the high point for us is of course getting to watch Carlos bent so prettily over the bed, with his jeans at his ankles and his exposed bottom high in the air. He’s still a little red from his spanking the night before, and he feels every kiss of his own belt as Pandora thrashes him with it. And it is so very lovely to hear him ask her for the cane and count out the strokes...
This week’s offering has it all: schoolgirls, caning, feet, queer innuendo, blackmail, practically everything the discerning fetishist wants in a film.
One of my favourite things about this little duo of scenes focused on beatings off the beaten track is actually the friendship between the two girls played by Fairie Willow and Pandora Blake. They don’t seem to be romantically involved, but they’re absolutely partners in crime. They get each other into trouble and support each other through its consequences. When a punishment is happening they hold hands and when it’s over they compare marks. I’m a sucker for representations of femme friendship, and this is a lovely example of the genre!
The real focus of this pair of films though is the unusual locations to which Headmistress Hewitt chooses to apply her cane: thighs, hands, feet, over the top of still-angry welts. There were some firsts in here for Willow, who earlier in the day had shot her first ever cold caning scene, and she squrims and winces beautifully as Clara removes her white school kneesocks and canes the soles of her feet.

This week we’re wrapping up our brand new three-part series Benefit in Kind, with a simmering conclusion that turns the tables on our devious landlady. This was a fun scene for Nimue Allen to shoot, because it had been a fair while since she’d last been spanked - Pandora thoroughly enjoyed getting to reacquaint her with it, and her bottom marked up beautifully!
Over the years we’ve showcased a great many IRL dynamics here, and it’s often a high point of our work. Lots of our films feature real-life couples, but those aren’t the only connections that come across beautifully on camera: real, genuine friendship between co-stars who have known each other well for a long time is just as lovely a thing to see.
The fictional connection between the two characters here works just as well, with the tenant immediately enjoying her newfound power (I rather think she might indulge in some recreational spankings in future!) and the landlady eagerly accepting her month-long punishment.
If you’re a fan of OTK spankings, unequal power dynamics or curvy bottoms in sheer tights, you won’t want to miss this.
There are a great many ways to be submissive. Some subs and bottoms are eager to please, keen to do anything their dominant partner might enjoy; others are mischievous or bratty or even reluctant, misbehaving on purpose or feigning ignorance of their misdeeds. Most inhabit all of these roles at some time or another, according to mood or circumstances or desire.
Carlos Green’s character in this week’s release is treading the line between bottom and brat, both craving a spanked backside and not wanting to give in to a punishment he’s not sure he deserves. And in the end, that’s a winning strategy for him - because he not only gets himself rosy and paddled, but also leaves with the promise of further punishment once he’s shown some repentance.
I reckon he’ll come round in the end, of course. Who wouldn’t, if it earned them another spanking from Pandora Blake?
I’ve written here before about how Clara Hewitt’s work with us has become something of a favourite of mine. She’s a woman of remarkable talents - we’ve seen her give six strokes and leave one mark, which I can’t imagine is easy! - and there’s a sadistic gleam in her eyes that I find rather compelling. It makes her a natural for our popular English Headmistress roles, the indomitable leaders of old-fashioned boys boarding schools and swanky finishing academies for elegant young ladies.
In this week’s film, though, a slightly different skillset is called for: she punishes the two recalcitrant girls by tawsing their hands and thighs, virgin territory unused to receiving such treatment. Even veteran Pandora is left with a beautiful set of fierce red welts!
There’s a good reason most spanking fans prefer to receive their beatings straight to the bottom. One’s hands or thighs will sting far more, and skin that hasn’t often been punished is far more prone to mark. From the top’s perspective, aim becomes more important than ever: you must be mindful of potential wraparound to the incredibly delicate skin of the inner thigh, for one thing.

I always enjoy the multi-part releases we sometimes get to do here. It gives the performers a chance to really warm up to their roles, and lets them explore all the different nuances of the characters they’re playing; are they enthusiastic or reluctant as spankers and spankees? Do they take to it like a natural, or find that the reality of having their backside tanned doesn’t quite live up to the fantasy they’d constructed? Are they content with the roles they’ve chosen, or do they fancy turning the tables every now and again?
This week’s film is the second of three parts of an ongoing story, in which Nimue Allen plays a somewhat unscrupulous landlady hoping to receive some benefits in kind from new tenant Pandora Blake. Part One saw Pandora put down her deposit, in the form of a bare hand OTK spanking - the curious tenant’s first. She seemed to enjoy it, so what’s next for our unconventional couple?
Pandora isn’t too worried when time to pay up her first month’s rent rolls around, thinking she’s got this spanking thing down. Her mood shifts, however, when she realises it won’t be so easy this time: a few mishaps over the first weeks have resulted in some extra punishment due!
This is a romp through a veritable arsenal of implements, as Pandora is spanked over Nimue’s lap with a bare hand, a firm slipper, a heavy hairbrush and finally Nimue’s favourite leather paddle. The real star of the show here though is Pandora’s face, with a closeup camera giving us plenty of shots as she pouts, winces and wriggles in remorse.
I’m definitely looking forward to part three of this one - and maybe by then Pandora will have learned her lesson and cleaned up her act a bit!
We’ve had a lot of deliciously reluctant spankees recently: schoolboys taking their punishments, naughty nurses bent over desks. This week’s release, though, is something different - a mutually beneficial arrangement with a beautiful frisson of queer desire.
Almost as soon as landlady Nimue lays out the terms of the proposed arrangement, it’s clear that Pandora might be interested in more than just a discount on her rent. Her eyes glitter with curiosity, especially once it emerges that from time to time the deal might work both ways.
The spanking itself seems a little tricky for Pandora’s character, being as she is not someone who has had such an experience before. As she wriggles and yelps under Nimue’s bare hand, though, she certainly isn’t put off by the reality of it.
At the end, she pulls her tights back up over her sore, glowing bottom and slips back into her figure-hugging skirt. I love the idea of her travelling home like that: rosy pink underneath the sheer fabric, carrying with her the secret knowledge that she’ll be left this way once a month from now on.
A little birdie told me that this isn’t the last we’ll be seeing of these two, either, so watch this space for further developments in their highly reciprocal arrangement!
This week’s scene is a beautifully kinky exploration of parental punishment, something we’ve enjoyed here at Dreams a few times lately. It’s taboo, it’s edgy, and it’s a deeply sensitive topic - so this seems like a good time to look at some of the benefits of our commitment to consensual production.
A lot of our scenes involve themes of reluctance and coercion. Whether it’s Lana Moon realising she’s in over her head with her boss, Richard McLean being forced to pull his trousers down for an angry headmistress or Pandora Blake being soundly thrashed by her disappointed father, many of our spanked and punished submissives are playing a part in which they’re less than thrilled about what’s being doled out. We love to explore the emotional side of the punishments we depict: the anxiety of waiting outside assembly knowing you’re about to be caned in front of the whole school, or the dread of coming home knowing your parents have already been phoned to talk about your misdeeds.
Of course, behind the camera there’s a very different story unfolding. All of our performers are themselves spanking fans - Pandora’s often written here about their private escapades, and some of our most successful scenes have starred real life couples who enjoy these dynamics personally as well as professionally. When we shoot with couples who don’t know each other so well, we’re even more careful to take as much time as our performers need to develop trust and establish boundaries.
This makes our porn more ethical, of course, but it also makes it hotter. When you trust the person you're submitting to, your pain threshold rises; you can sink more deeply into a headspace, explore more taboo aspects of the dynamic, take more of a beating from their hand or cane or belt. The backstage content released alongside this week’s new scene is a great example of that.
Pandora directs almost all the content we produce here, which is a lovely metaphor for the ways in which it’s actually the submissive partner who calls a lot of the shots. While filming Waiting At Home With The Belt they gave David Oak plenty of feedback, both about his performance and his punishment. This gave him the freedom to lean into his part - he knew they’d call “cut!” if they needed to, knew he could trust them to enforce their boundaries well.
And as a result, Pandora ended up asking David to beat them a little harder and dole out their fictional punishment a little more fiercely. Because consent, you see, is hot as hell.
We release a lot of behind the scenes content here at Dreams, but one thing we don’t often get to see is our performers simply being themselves. Most of the time, when the camera’s on a performer is in one of two modes: either they’re inhabiting the role they’ve taken on for the shoot, or they’ve got their ‘work head’ on as they figure out practicalities and navigate comfort zones.
This week’s film is a lovely chance to see a side of Pandora that doesn’t often make it into our content, and to meet Richard in a mode other than the ones he’s played in our recent releases. There’s a chatty, conversational tone throughout this spanking, and somehow that makes it all the hotter. The two performers have had a long day to get comfortable with each other, and now they’re having a chance to explore their likes and dislikes in a more relaxed, intimate setting.
This is a fun, sexy little film, and if you’re anything like me you’ll be rather envious of Richard by the end - the chance to bottom for Pandora in their chilled out nurturing top mode isn’t one I’d pass up in a hurry.
