There are any number of ways to play a character in a spanking porn film. Bottoms can be bratty and sarcastic, eager and subservient, reluctant, excited, curious; tops can be loving and parental, or distant and clinical, or fierce and strict. Or, as in the case of David Oak in this week’s film, they can turn the perv factor up to eleven as they loom over the spankee at their mercy.
David - who is in reality of course extremely lovely! - does an amazing job in this role, as he first inspects Pandora’s handiwork and then throws her over her bed to show her some consequences. There’s something rather oily about the character he’s playing, but Pandora is not dissuaded - though some of her eagerness does dissipate a little once the spanking starts to get more difficult than she’d anticipated.

Lana Moon and I have been friends for many years, and we've been talking about shooting spanking films together for a long time. When we decided to make it happen one of the circumstances we needed to navigate was chronic illness. Due to her health Lana can't always predict when she's going to be at her best. I wanted the shoot to be a fun experience, and that meant building in a degree of flexibility. It proved a good exercise for me to stretch myself in the art of relaxing and going with the flow.
We ended up postponing our November shoot two or three times - for my reasons as well as Lana's. Between my kid getting sick, her kid getting sick, and her health needs, it felt like one thing after another. But thanks to the history and trust between us I knew we'd get there eventually. Luckily during lockdown none of us had much else going on, so rescheduling a couple of times wasn’t a problem. I felt very grateful that David Oak, whose house we were shooting at, was so understanding about the changes of plan.
It was a very different way of working than I'm used to. Uncertainty makes me anxious, so I tend to be hyper-organised. I plan in advance exactly what's going to happen, and then I try to stick to the plan as much as possible. But I realised that putting a date in the diary for a month's time was bound to end in failure. Instead Lana and I exchanged daily texts, checking in with each other and pouncing on an opportunity to shoot when one came up.
I ended up packing my shoot bag three times before we actually got there. But in a way, the extra time was good: it gave me the chance to chase down a couple of extra props and costume pieces which made some of the scenes even better.
On the appointed day, Lana and I stayed in close contact. She was feeling good the night before, and that morning said she was a bit wobbly, but game. I got my makeup on, had breakfast and loaded the car before receiving a very upset voice message from her that her health had taken a sudden turn for the worst, and she wasn't sure when she was going to make it.
I tried to think. Should I go ahead to the venue and shoot some solo content, in the hopes that she'd be able to join us later, or stay at home and get some other work done on the basis that the shoot was probably cancelled? I spent some time drinking tea, calming my nerves and thinking it over before deciding to go, and give it a try. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be me and Dave all day or whether Lana was going to be able to join us at all, but either way I hoped we could create some good content.
Dave and I started off shooting a solo film commissioned by a viewer via our customs website. I'd been planning to shoot it by myself the next day at home, but since we had time I thought I'd take advantage of Dave's help with camera and lighting. This worked out really well - the result is a lot better than I could have achieved by myself. That film will go up on Dreams of Spanking in due course, and it's a must-see for fans of curvy bottoms in tight pencil skirts. It's also got some fetish content which I'd never done across before - I love this about shooting customs! - such as humping and grinding on furniture. I'm not even sure if there's a category for that on Clips4Sale, but I found it surprisingly erotic!
Once that was done, it was time to improvise. I was still hoping that Lana would arrive, but she hadn't been able to leave yet. Dave and I decided to use some of the costumes I'd packed, and come up with some new scenarios we could shoot just the two of us.
I had some Victorian-themed costumes with me, so I got dressed up as an old-timey strumpet working in a bordello, revealing far too much thigh and even more cleavage. Dave has a really cool leather saddle in his playroom which is mounted on a stool - just about the right height for straddling the saddle and bending over (funny coincidence, that). "I don't have a plot," I said. "You've got the costume, you've got the saddle - sounds like a scene to me," he said.
We shot a POV scene with me telling my best friend (the camera) about the young stableboy that I had a crush on, gossiping about my fetish for all things equestrian, and my fantasies involving horses and saddles and stableboys. While I was waxing lyrical about how erotic I found all this, I was mounting the saddle and grinding against it. I guess that furniture-humping custom film had put me in a lewd mood!
I ended up self-spanking using a riding crop, swishing onto my bottom, my thighs and my breasts while mounted on the saddle. I was having so much fun that Dave and I were inspired to keep going.
We set up cameras on tripods, and Dave put on a waistcoat and played the bordello owner who comes in and catches me messing around. At this point we both put on face masks, since we couldn't socially distance. We decided not to labour the point, and just imply that this was during the pandemic in 1918 or something like that. I really enjoyed Dave's performance as the sleazy brothel owner who takes advantage of his position and inflicts the punishments which he caught me fantasising about.
He gave me a really hot whipping with the riding crop on my breasts, inner thighs and bottom. At this point I enjoyed a tantalising personal discovery - although my nipples have been uncomfortably sensitive to touch while I've been breastfeeding, it turns out I still I really enjoy having them hit with the riding crop! This was a lovely little gift to take home with me - the joys of having a job where I can be sexually self-expressed. It's so lovely to be able to explore the things that turn me on at work, to write my own scenarios and play with the people I want to play with - and even discover new things about my body and pleasure.
I wasn't ready to take the corset off yet, so we filmed a sequel with the same characters in which my Victorian wench character gets herself into more trouble and faces a more severe punishment. It included this porn career first: the first time I have ever 'lacquered' a leather saddle by carefully rubbing my cunt juice into it with my fingers! Needless to say, I got a hard thrashing for being so naughty.
I think the fates smiled on us for being so resourceful - Lana arrived at 3pm! She was utterly determined and did incredibly well to get herself there, despite the many obstacles in her way. I had to leave at 5pm because of my childcare arrangement, so we had a couple of hours and we were keen to make the most of them.
Lana threw herself into the roleplay. I've had a look at the footage and I can't wait to share these scenes with you. She's a fantastic performer, charming and funny with a beautiful body, and she can take a hard spanking too.
We picked out two scenes to shoot that day, and planned to get together another time to shoot the rest of the films. The first one was a political satire called The Party Whip. Lana played an MP who had defied the whip and voted against party policy in the House of Commons, and I played the Whip who summoned her to my office for the traditional whipping due for this violation of protocol!
Despite the political scenario, I wanted this to be a comedy, and to avoid reminding viewers of the more upsetting issues happening in politics at the moment. The Dreams of Spanking crew had fun brainstorming ideas for crazy legislation, and we settled on a law that exists in one of the southern states of the US, which limits the number of dildos owned per person! It was the perfect choice, and gave Lana the opportunity to passionately defend the right of the individual to own as many dildos as they want. A worthy cause!
We had great fun with it, and Lana looked utterly beautiful during the punishment, outstretched on the dining table with her bottom in the air.
Finally, we filmed a caning scene with Lana on the receiving end. We'd planned a scene for both of us getting spanked together, but it needed both of us to have unmarred bottoms. I was quite marked from the thrashing I'd already taken that day, so instead we did a sequel.
The setting is that Lana and I are going out with Dave's two nephews. We're really hankering for a spanking and trying to get our boyfriends to spank us. They're oblivious and not particularly interested - but Uncle Dave, who we're staying with for the summer, is. The two of us just keep on getting into trouble with him, and he keeps on finding reasons to punish us. It's a traditional uncle/niece dynamic with a fun, consensual twist.
In this episode Lana is home late during lockdown. She's in trouble with Uncle Dave for breaking the restrictions and missing the dinner that he's cooked for her - and when he tells her off, she just gets naughtier and naughtier. An over the knee hand spanking isn't enough to rein in her sassy behaviour, so he bends her over for the cane.
At the end of the day, despite the day's uncertainties I felt very satisfied. Although the day hadn't gone to plan, and I hadn't managed to shoot the six scenes I'd planned with Lana, we had a successful day and filmed some hot additional content. Plus I got to be spanked more than I'd expected, which was no bad thing!
Lana and I planned to reconvene to shoot the other four scenes, as soon as a good opportunity came along. That day came along quicker than I expected. I always get a little nostalgic around Christmas. This year I’m finding that sensation stronger than ever: 2020 has been a year unlike any other I’ve seen, and the familiarity of the festive season has proven comforting.
It seems only fitting, then, that we have some fine vintage porn for you this week. The Wrong Room was filmed some years ago now, and is the sequel to The Victorian Brothel - which was already a look back through Dreams of Spanking history when we released it in 2017. It’s also set in the 1800s, of course, making it a blast from the past in more than one way!
As one of the newer members of the Dreams of Spanking team, this was my first introduction to the shenanigans of Molly Brown. You can tell in the opening scenes of The Wrong Room that she’s enjoying her bare-bottom spanking a great deal - and not for the first time, either, judging by the array of beautiful bruises she sports all across her exposed backside. Longstanding fans will know that this enjoyment was hard-won: in her debut she was a real firebrand, stubbornly refusing to submit to her client’s desires. All that life and energy is still there - she hasn’t lost her sharp mouth or her quick wit, which we see as the film unfolds - but she’s discovered something wonderful at the hands of Thomas, and submission to him has become something she craves and enjoys.
You can see the jealousy in her face, in fact, when after a mixup with room bookings Thomas decides to invite the hapless Leia to join them. She soon warms to the idea, however, and in the end thoroughly enjoys getting to play the experienced sub talking a nervous newbie through their first ever spanking. Leia too is taken on a journey during this encounter. She’s reluctant at first, seeming to agree only out of a sense of politeness and duty. As her cheeks redden, though, we can see it in her face: she’s enjoying this. She’s learned something new about herself here; something we can but hope she gets to explore with Thomas on many future assignations.
It’s been a deeply peculiar year for us all, has 2020 - but we wanted to go out with a bang (or should that be a smack?), and this was the perfect way to do it. Have a great Christmas, folks, and we’ll see you on the other side.
It’s almost always a shame to take sex too seriously. Let’s face it, fucking is kind of an inherently ridiculous thing to do: it’s messy, it’s often unflattering, it’s practically inevitable that someone will get a painful cramp at an inopportune moment. The ability to laugh with our sexual partners is what makes all these things okay, and it can be a bonding experience in and of itself.
So sometimes I think porn could do with a bit more humour. Not all the time, of course - we all love our severe, headspacey scenes too - but why shouldn’t porn sometimes be funny? Life is funny. Sex is often funny. If porn is an art form in its own right (and I believe that it is, or can be) there’s no reason it shouldn’t imitate life in all its ridiculous glory.
A Spot Of Bother is a male/male bare bottom spanking film in a historical setting. It is also, at times, genuinely laugh-out-loud funny. It’s a sort of Jeeves & Wooster (or perhaps Holmes & Watson) period pastiche, a queer trans sendup with a sense of humour as uniquely British as caning itself. “They insulted the Queen, I suppose?”, asks Blake at one point, trying to work out what has caused his dutiful manservant to act with such uncharacteristic impulsivity. You can see the twitch of Charlie’s lips trying to keep a straight face as he replies: “In a manner of speaking, sir.”
This is a guest director film, produced and edited by Charlie Forrest himself. He clearly had as much fun with the editing as he and Blake with the ad libbing. The result is a rollicking gay spanking film with some jolly good jokes. That doesn’t take away from the hard caning we all love to see here; in my opinion, it adds to it. This scene is as well-rounded as Charlie's bottom, and there’s no denying that Blake makes a fabulous queen.
There’s always something endearing about behind-the-scenes material. I’m rather fond of that photograph of Robert Powell taken during the filming of Jesus of Nazareth: the actor, strapped to his cross, is wrapped in a blanket and being given a drink and a cigarette by a crew member between takes, which deliciously demystifies the whole thing. There are some similar enjoyably fourth-wall-breaking moments in this excellent look at the making of Mrs Smith’s Method: Pandora strolling into shot in modern t-shirt and knickers to give a bit of directorial advice; the discussions over how to achieve the impression of an utterly frenzied birching of Amelia Jane’s bare arse without going beyond what would be safe, sane and consensual for the actor.
Mrs Smith's Method, released a couple of years ago, is one of the more ambitious and elaborate Dreams of Spanking productions. It pushes many buttons: sly pokes at Victorian moralizing, hypocrisy and weirdness, especially via Molly Malone’s fabulous portrayal of a thrashing-obsessed, for-your-own-good religious loon; the ritualistic elements involved in hardcore discipline, such as kissing the implement and thanking your chastiser, and the closing blissed-out, yielding contrition. However, seeing the cast interact between takes as themselves is endearing and a good reminder that, no matter how dark the scene you want to play out might be, it can still be enjoyable fun entered into with full knowledge and great enthusiasm.
I’ve recently been dabbling in spanking shoots again myself and, along with the indisputable fun it is to yell at a cute girl and spank her pert bum till it’s glowing and hot, the laughs and hugs and the reassurance afterwards that she enjoyed it, that it was fun working together, and that we’re all good, are as important a part of the experience as the actual scene.
Severe punishment, the sort that comes with a few darker overtones of wretched humiliation and the crushing of a free spirit, may not be to everyone’s taste, though it’s definitely hotter than hot for a lot of people. I’d have to admit that my own preferences run more to the knockabout comedy end of the spanking scene, so I probably like this making-of version slightly more than the original. It’s also a good way of showing just how much work goes into the making of a porn film that’s a little bit more ambitious than most, and would be just as helpful as a masterclass in making your own historical romp, should you be so inclined. Mrs Smith Behind The Scenes is certainly a terrific companion piece to Mrs Smith’s Method: watch them back to back, if you have a free afternoon. As to whether you prefer to tantalise yourself with the making-of and then watch the film proper, or enjoy the feature first and then go back and see how it was all done, that’s entirely up to you.
Since Dreams of Spanking launched, I've been impatient to edit and release The Victorian Brothel. I chose the image of me over Tom's knee, wearing bloomers and a corset, as the homepage header image back when I designed the site in the summer of 2011. I always intended to create a rotating gallery of images on that header, showing a wider variety of scenes, but somehow I never found time.
I was incredibly proud of this film when we shot it. This was my second ever shoot as producer/director, a day with Zille Defeu, her husband Duncan, our friend Jay, Tom and me. The first Dreams of Spanking shoot had just been me, Jay and Tom. Those early shoots were a steep learning curve for me.
Until The Victorian Brothel, every scene was a crash course in new aspects of filming that I had to work out from scratch. There was a lot of stopping and starting. Trying to juggle the mental demands of directing with the physical and emotional challenges of bottoming on camera, I found it hard to avoid getting stressed. But The Victorian Brothel was our final scene of the day, and it was the first scene I'd produced that felt like it went well at the time. With Duncan, Zille and Jay behind the camera, Tom and I got into character and the roleplay flowed. It felt as natural as the roleplay scenes we played in private. Trusting our friends to capture our live improvisation, I was able to immerse myself in the scenario, get fully into character, and surrender to the beating without having to balance that headspace with other, more technical concerns. As a result I was able to take a much harder spanking, paddling and caning than I usually can while performing/directing, and I was really happy about it.
That was over seven years ago, in early December 2009. The reason I didn't edit this film before the site launched, along with the other two scenes we shot that day - Caned in Jodhpurs and Liberated Ladies of the Jazz Age - is simple. The Victorian Brothel was originally written as part of a series of films entitled The Adventures of Molly Brown. I'd written several episodes of it; this was the fourth chapter in the story. I hadn't had a chance yet to shoot episodes one to three, but the shoot with Zille and Tom was a perfect opportunity to shoot the episode in which my character meets his for the first time. I very much intended to shoot the others at some point, however; and I wanted to wait and release them in story order.
Sadly, I never got a chance to film the backstory. Episodes one, two and three fell by the wayside. And when I realised that the age verification policy in the Digital Economy Bill was going to put a cut-off point on my ability to keep the site alive in its current form, I finally accepted that I wasn't going to get the chance to shoot them any time soon. Meanwhile, I'm trying to release as much of the content I care about while the site is still legal in the UK.
So Molly Brown's story starts here: with her first appointment with a new customer in Mrs Slater's brothel. An urchin who grew up in the streets and the workhouse, Molly was sent out to work for various undesirable trades, but somehow always found herself sent back to face the the steely glare - and the hard leather strap - of the beadle. When Mrs Slater turned up to see if he had any new girls for her, he packed her off to the brothel - and Molly's life entered a new chapter.
Scrubbed to within an inch of her life, Molly began her transformation into a girl Mrs Slater's customers might find appealing. She earned her share of licks from the madame, too; but it was nothing compared to the beadle's strong right arm. When Mrs Slater saw how well Molly took her punishment, she thought to send her to one of her more eccentric clients, a gent with a predilection for administering corporal punishment to the plump bare bottoms of comely wenches. Molly lacked the elegance and accomplishment of other girls, but she was resilient and quick-witted, and Mrs Slater saw the potential to train her up to please her more unusual clientele.
Molly took well to Mrs Slater's training, and was finally declared ready to meet her first customer. But although Molly is no stranger to taking a beating, she still is not particularly inclined to behave submissively. Sparks fly between her and the gent as he tries to bend her to his will, and her quick tongue and stubborn nature get her into more trouble than she'd bargained for.
So that's Molly's backstory. You never know, it's not impossible I might be able to shoot the previous episodes sometime in the future - although perhaps I'll look too different by the time the stars align, and I have affordable access to the venues and cast I need. In the meantime I think this scene stands well enough on its own. Although I can tell you now that the next chapter has also been shot, and will be released in the coming weeks, starring myself, Tom, and a new character played by Leia Ann Woods...
Coming back to this film to edit it, seven years after it was filmed, was a weird experience. Tom and I split up three years ago, and it was very strange to watch us on camera. I almost felt like I was watching someone else; and yet in other ways seeing us together all those years ago felt very real, and very personal.
I remember writing this scene for us to play. Although Tom plays a very overbearing, bullying character, and to the uninitiated perhaps this scene might be edgy enough to seem non-consensual, I can tell you for certain that this scenario was my fantasy, and performing it was an authentic act of self-expression. But it was fascinating and somewhat dissonant to watch this recording, a piece of my own personal history, and reflect on how much has changed since then.
There are some aspects of this film that I would definitely do differently nowadays. For instance, the way that Tom's patriarchal character throws around the word "whore" makes me wince, now, as an advocate of sex workers' rights who is fighting against stigma and whorephobia. These days I would seriously consider before I took on the role of a historical sex worker, but back then I didn't think twice.
Editing this, I had the opportunity to reflect on how far Dreams of Spanking has come - not only politically, but technically. The Victorian Brothel was shot before I knew to record audio separately from the cameras, or to use face lights. It was a frustrating edit in some ways, as I struggled to salvage a legible soundtrack from two cameras that both had audio isses - one picking up a lot of wind noise (from where I have no idea, given we were indoors), the other plagued by mechanical clicks and whirrs from the operation of the camera. But I feel like I've managed to massage it into a shape that communicates my vision, hopefully without too many technical distractions. I hope you'll forgive any that remain.
For me, the power of this film comes from the interaction between the characters. It's a hard corporal punishment scene, both physically and emotionally - the intensity brings me/Molly to tears towards the end. But not only is the spanking itself severe, the atmosphere of the scene is rife with tension. The scenario unfolds as a battle of wills between a cruel gentleman with particular tastes, and a spirited wench who doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut. I certainly took more strokes, and harder, than if Molly Brown had been submissive than rebellious. But I loved it.
Life has moved on since Tom and I filmed this scene. We are no longer together, and there have been many changes for both me and Dreams of Spanking. But this film holds a special place in my heart. It shows what Tom and I did best - hard, accurate spanking that pushes me to my limits, quick-witted dialogue, sparks flying between two strong characters, and Tom's trademark brand of elegant, articulate dominance.
When I filmed this scene, it seemed to encapsulate everything I wanted to achieve with Dreams of Spanking: immersive roleplay between real life partners, lush costumes and locations, and imaginative historical settings with a quirky sense of humour and a rich attention to detail. That was why I chose a still from this scene as our banner image - and why, although much has changed since then, I'm still very pleased to share it with the world.
Despite containing nakedness, over the knee spanking and hard caning, there is something almost innocent in these images. Maybe it's the Victorian setting, or Pandora's white flouncy underskirt. Whatever it is, it really gives this scene a romantic air that I love. It's a sort of nostalgia for a time I only know from books and films.
The Victorian Brothel starring Pandora Blake and Thomas Cameron is a gorgeous sepia photoset that manages to perfectly capture a sort of mentor/protegee experience. I think the slightly cheeky but nervous smile on Pandora's face as she looks up at him is one of the things that make me think of the asymmetrical power dynamic between a strict teacher and student who is eager to impress.
There is an innocence in the photos of Pandora as a Victorian wench getting ready to meet (and please) her new client. I love the image of her kneeling at his feet; the way her hands are tucked under her bottom, and she is looking at the floor but still turned towards him, and the smile on his face as he sits relaxed. It holds possibility; his hand resting on his knee looks like all he has to do is lift a finger and he will be touching her breast. It’s powerful; charged with sensual tension but not overtly erotic…and despite not being submissive, I find I can’t decide if I want to be on the floor or in the chair.
The sequence of photographs where Pandora is showing herself off for Thomas is fascinating. There is an air of confidence but also uncertainty. It conveys the feeling that she is proud of her body but not quite sure if the person she is showing off for approves. Even when she is laid over his knee she seems confused by his lack of apparent response to her charms - which makes her reaction to the first spank so delightful...
I love the careful way Thomas explores her; lifting her skirt, parting her white bloomers, stroking her bum, and skimming past her more delicate area before teasing with a finger, as if he is testing her readiness. The way he lines up the paddle while Pandora tenses, her face crunched as she prepares for the first impact of leather.
I think my favourite image in this set is the one of the cane impacting on Pandora’s bare bottom. The pose, composition, the way the heels lift her bare bottom, and the stocking tops frame the ‘impact zone’. I love how the cane is pressing into her flesh, bending slightly with the force of the stroke. Plus, it is a very lovely bottom, especially with that pattern of bruised stripes across it. It’s an image I have gone back to more than once.
Finally her punishment is over, and Thomas gathers Pandora on his knee. There is something really sexy about the way Pandora bites her lip as Thomas bites her nipple. The way he has her arms pinned behind her back just adds to the feeling. This is a really hot image, that gave me all the right kind of shivers. The film that goes with this photoset has just been released, and I can't wait to watch it because I think it will be hot hot hot.
The last image in the set reminds me of those collectable cards you used to get in cigarette packet, of the sexy ladies in their underwear. It has that air about it, Victorian pin-up perfection.

An in-depth look at the process of shooting David's first spanking video. David muses on how surreal it is to finally be on a spanking set after watching so many films online. He and Pandora negotiate the scenario - and Pandora takes rather a lot of enjoyment in having him over her knee! David: "I think I can honestly say this is the first time it's taken two people to adjust my underwear." Plus some bustle-wiggling as Pandora plays with her petticoats... Pandora briefs David and tells him he can cut any time. During the scene she stops regularly to check in on him, and David reveals that the hardest thing is trying not to smile!
I loved putting together my Victorian governess costume for this scene - especially improvising a bustle with a net petticoat under my skirt. I love that the Victorians loved bums so much that they invented the bustle to make them look bigger!

One has to wonder how Amy got hold of a boy's uniform - did she enlist one of her boyfriend's friends to steal some spare items for her from lost property or the sanitorium, or is there an unlucky lower-schooler wandering around in his pants? If she was caught sneaking into the boy's school to visit her boyfriend, I'm sure the true story would come out ... and it would provide a fabulous excuse for a hot sequence in which she was punished while wearing boy's uniform!
You know how it is when you get a certain spanking scenario in your head – often it influences the fantasies you have over the next few days. That look from a spankee in pain, that authoritative turn of phrase from a particularly strict disciplinarian, that shot of a bright red arse framed so perfectly by pulled-down pants: these are the things that tend to stay with me.
And what's stayed with me over the last week or so is the thought of historical spankings. Being taken back in time to when authority figures could physically punish, and when the clipped tones of a Victorian schoolmaster might have me trembling with a combination of fear and deep arousal. So what is it about historical spankings that's so sexy?
I doubt anyone would disagree with this – least of all a Dreams of Spanking member, given Pandora's talent for finding beautiful outfits for the site's performers. My favourite of all the outfits on this site is the amazing pair of split Victorian bloomers worn by Lola Marie in 'The Scholarship Girl'. The scene is a classic school beating, with Lola subjected to corporal punishment by schoolmistress Pandora Blake after displaying behaviour that is certainly not fitting for a scholarship girl.
Pandora's dressed in a stern, high-necked black dress, which somehow makes it all the more humiliating for Lola as she has to expose her bottom through the split bloomers before taking several hard strokes with the tawse.
One of the things I love about the performers on Dreams of Spanking is that they add unique twists to any scenario. And with a historical spanking scene, there is so much more flexibility for unusual situations and ideas you may never have thought about before.
Take the Magician's Apprentice, for example – this two-part spanking photoset accompanies a piece of original spanking erotica written by Adele Haze. In part one, Sophie goes home with a handsome boy she met at the fair, although when things heat up between them she doesn't expect what happens next. In part two poor Sophie is initiated into the magician's world and becomes his apprentice – meaning she can be physically punished by her new master the magician.
When I mentioned I wanted to write about historical spankings on Twitter the other day, one Dreams follower replied quickly recommending The Stableboy, and I have to agree that this is one of my favourite classic historical spanking scenes in the Dreams of Spanking archive. One of the stand out sexiest things about this, I think, is the dialogue.
Pandora and Thomas are both smoothly commanding, and use their instructions to build the electric tension and sizzling hotness prior to the punishment itself.
“Go into the house. Set out the chaise – you know where it goes. Fetch down the strap.”
So much of this scene is enhanced by the verbal chastisement that goes along with the strapping. Oh, and of course it also helps that Michael bravely takes what looks to me like a very intense punishment with the leather strap.
The air of authority
Perhaps I've read too many old school novels, but it seems like back in the day, authority was just a lot more... well... authoritative. At my own school, despite being a very good girl, I could have chosen to run wild with nothing more to worry about than a detention or a hundred lines to write.
As evidenced by this amazing Victorian birching scene, though, authority can be so much more intimidating when it's backed up by physical punishment. Thomas Cameron plays a character who is not angry, just disappointed, and yet his disappointment is strong enough to give Michael Darling some incredibly painful-looking strokes with an old-fashioned birch.
