A very thorough hazing

More or less everyone has at some point felt bullied by their peers, or rejected by their social group, or like they don't fit in with the world around them. And who among us has never fantasised about taking some kind of revenge and giving those people a taste of their own medicine? 

That's exactly what former sorority pledge Lorraine gets to do in this week's film. She had no way of knowing that Pandora, the incumbent President during her time in the sorority, would show up on her doorstep when she did - but she certainly seems to know what she wants to do with her now she's there. It's pretty obvious she's been planning this for some time.

The hottest moment of this film, for me, comes right at the beginning of the spanking. "This isn't where a sorority president should be, is it?", Lorraine says, a smirk at her lips and her paddle already lined up against Pandora's exposed backside. "Bent over with a bare bottom in front of one of her pledges." 

Back-to-school season is upon us, and if you'd like to celebrate with a little revenge fantasy of your own this is the perfect film for it - we can't help but be glad Lorraine finally got her moment!

A good spanking is a skill - for spanker and spankee both. Your intention, your technique and your negotiations with each other as play partners all make a huge difference to the overall experience for both parties, but how can you navigate that in a way that creates the session you’re both looking for?

Our performers have learned a lot about this over the years, but in many of our films their tricks are almost invisible. This week we’re taking you behind the scenes to show you some of what’s really happening when we create our fantasies: how to position someone over your lap, how to cup or flatten your hand to give a variety of sensations, how to discuss a spanking in advance and make sure you’re both on the same page.

At the same time, our Hand Spanking Demo shows a beautiful connection between the performers starring in it. Molly’s clearly very much enjoying her role as demonstration bottom here - she’s been waiting a while for this spanking from Zoe, and Zoe certainly doesn’t disappoint.

A Dreams of Spanking first!

Kink education has always been a big part of what we’re trying to do here. Dreams of Spanking is a porn studio, but it’s also a community: a place where spanking fans can find out what they like, what they want to try next and how to go about doing it in a way that’s fun and safe for everyone involved.

We got some great films out of our day shooting with Stephen, Kelley and Becci. By the end of the afternoon they’d been to school, undertaken a severe workplace discipline session and given Kelley a fantastic birthday surprise, and that wasn’t even all of it! Once the stories had been told, Becci found themselves with a beautifully warmed-up bottom - and, well, it seems a shame to waste it...

If you’d like to learn more about the mechanics of spanking, Show & Tell is a great place to start. All three performers bring some lessons of their own to the table, from Kelley’s tips on spanking stances to Becci’s description of how a sjambok is used. Of course, the film isn’t only educational; you’ll also get to see Becci stretched beautifully out across a spanking bench, gasping and squirming as Stephen and Kelley demonstrate some techniques.

Perhaps the most exciting thing of all about this film is the sjambok. It’s a favourite implement of Becci’s, and one of the first they were ever beaten with - but neither Kelley nor Stephen had used one before this was filmed. We’ve never featured one on the site before, so it’s been a new experience all round!

Inside the circle

A BDSM scene can be a great many things. Sometimes it’s a bubble of fantasy, a roleplayed world in which the participants get to be lifted entirely out of their own minds. Other times it’s a microcosm of a particular relationship, a particular dynamic - an exploration of the connection between two people that belongs only to them.

In Conscious Kink, it’s something else again. For Seani and Ron this was a new experience; neither of them had performed on camera before. The scene they created together was a collaborative, almost sacred space, with every inch carefully negotiated between themselves.

This film is a deep dive into that space, and into the connection it developed between the people inside it. We get to go on the journey with them - from their first discussions about what they might use their play together for, through to the beginnings of their aftercare as they decide it’s time to wrap up.

It’s a totally different look at kink and BDSM than many of our films here. It’s a very raw, real experience: you can really feel your way through Ron’s shivers under the impact of the blows he asks for. It also gives the viewer a chance to learn a little something about how to play with conscious kink - and how to create deep, mindful BDSM experiences of their own.

We all figure out our predilections in our own ways. For some of us, it was something we watched or read as a child that woke up a part of our mind to possibilities untold; for others it was a person we met later on, someone who saw something in us we hadn’t fully understood about ourselves. For the two young ladies trapped together in this week’s release, it was an idle play at first - then a mutual recklessness, a delicious sense of being in a fantasy land away from the strictures they were raised to think unbreakable.

It begins so innocently. A game of cards; an exchange of dares. A revelation - Lana has thrown off her petticoats, taken her quarantine as an opportunity to experiment with something a little more daring. This is not a story from our own quarantines of recent years, but still it feels familiar to us as this latest pandemic drags ever on. I’m certain there are people out there who explored new horizons during our lockdowns, too: who were spanked for the first time, learned an entirely new side of themselves, discovered the true depths of a friendship hitherto platonic.

Introducing the X tag

I spoke recently about the names that I use on Dreams. When I'm playing a male role or doing a scene where I'm my own non-binary self, I will be referred to as Blake and they/them or he/him, as opposed to being Pandora and using she/her pronouns when performing as a woman. 

The fact is, this is the case for many of our performers. We strive to welcome a cast of diverse performers, and this includes gender identities. Many of our performers are non-binary, and sometimes their role in a scene will be as "they" rather than "he" or "she". It's high time we made that visible.

When a performer is non-binary and presenting as such in the scene (whether that's in their pronouns, their character is non-binary or they are playing as themself), we will use the tag X to denote this. Where a performer is non-binary and the character they are playing is gendered F or M, the tags will include this gender along with the X tag. 

This means that when you're searching the site you can find the scenes that you enjoy, while respecting and reflecting the gender identities of our performers. You can find the orientation tags on our keywords page to browse the options.

Sixty long, hard seconds

The warmup is a vitally important part of the spanking process. When your skin is properly warmed up, blood rushes to the area in question and the main event hurts a little less - meaning you can go for longer and take more of a thrashing. A good warmup also helps both the spanker and the spankee figure out where they’re at that day and calibrate accordingly, especially if they’ve not played together much or it’s been a while.

In this week’s film, though, Blake and Sarah forgo the warming-up process entirely in favour of a particularly harsh cold paddling for one full, unrelenting minute. It’s an extremely hot scene, partly because skipping the warmup is usually a bad idea; this is a punishment, after all, and Sarah isn’t doing anything to make it any easier.

The lack of a good warmup isn’t the only thing adding a little extra frisson to this spanking, though. The timer itself gives a very different feel than the more usual set number of strokes: till that alarm goes off Sarah won’t be slowing down or letting up, and Blake won’t have a chance to breathe between impacts and brace for the next one. It’s sixty full seconds in the heart of the storm, taking it over and over again.

The paddling was just as intense for Blake as a performer - there was no off-screen warmup before it was filmed, and those timed minutes were very real. It worked out because it was a well-negotiated scene, and because Blake and Sarah have been working together for a long time; there’s enough trust and understanding there for them to push the boundaries a little.

There’s a lot of love about this scene, and we’re looking forward to hearing from you all about it - and we’re also pretty sure Blake’s learned their lesson about staying up too late playing on their laptop!
