Our latest film is based on a true story, and when I tell you that it's to do with probation officers and caning as punishment, I hope you'll be as intrigued as I was.

In this scene, Molly Malone plays the fierce (and incredibly judgemental) probation officer who seems to be putting some pretty unreasonable demands on Nimue Allen. When she tells Nimue that she must submit to housing inspector visits once a week, Nimue kicks back – and I think rightly so!
But Molly's got an idea up her sleeve to help 'persuade' Nimue to comply – she sends Nimue to the cupboard in the corner of the room, and orders her to open it and look inside.
Now, here's where the porn film diverges from the real-life story. Naturally, because it's Dreams of Spanking, the scene builds to a painful and deeply sexy climax, as Molly uses the cane on Nimue's bare bottom – searing hot red stripes into her bare flesh as she winces and gasps.
In real life, though, the cane wasn't used except as a rather clever deterrent. Here's the original story, as told to Pandora by a Dreams of Spanking member:
“She was on a probation order (divorced women with kids then could be put on an order in contested circumstances to protect the kids). In the early days she was very resentful, and when her probation officer (who she came to adore by the way, they ended up great friends) asked for an assurance from her on something and she refused to give it, he thought for a moment, then told her to walk to a cupboard, open it, look inside - then close it and come back and sit down.
She went off in a strop, opened it, took in the long thin school cane, and in her words "nearly wet my knickers" - then returned to her seat and promptly answered in the positive when the question was put again. She wasn't to know that probation officers lost the power to use the cane - on juveniles - in the 1970s, he just never cleared his cupboard."
I found this completely fascinating – it's surprising just how recently people were allowed to use canes for corporal punishment in the UK. As someone for whom the cane has only ever had sexual connotations, I can't imagine what it would be like to have the threat of this hanging over you for real. It's certainly enough to truly shock Nimue Allen's character, and give even Molly's sadistic probation officer pause for thought.
I think the scene works even better because the time period in which it's set is so close to that where caning might have been a possibility. While corporal punishment for juvenile offenders was phased out in practice in the mid-20th century, a bit of Googling tells me that it wasn't until 1978 that the European Court of Human Rights explicitly ruled that judicial birching contravened article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights. And, of course, it took much longer for corporal punishment to be phased out in schools and in the home.
At the time this film is set (the mid-1980s) corporal punishment was technically still legal in all schools in the UK – it was only phased out of state schools in 1987, and remained legal in private schools until as late as 1999. So it's pretty plausible that Nimue (who by the way sports some pretty spectacular eighties hair in this) wouldn't be totally sure that it was illegal for her probation officer to beat her.
It's pretty shocking to me that punishment caning was only fully abolished very recently in the UK. Perhaps even more shocking is the fact that only last year Justice Secretary Chris Grayling (a man who wouldn't recognise human rights if they gave him an illegal six-of-the-best) seriously suggested the reintroduction of corporal punishment for juvenile offenders – the same kind of treatment that Nimue is subjected to in this film.
Maybe it's my upbringing, and the fact that I've never been caned as punishment, but I always tend to assume that the cane, slipper, hand spanking, and other forms of authorised corporal punishment died out in the 1950s. This scene is a bit of a history lesson as well as a seriously hot F/F caning – and because the punishment is so deeply unfair (not to mention illegal) I'm delighted that Nimue comes back with her badass eighties side-ponytail and gets her revenge at the end of the scene. What kind of revenge? Well, you'll have to watch it to find out...
My personal favourite, however, was the third photoset of the afternoon. Two topless girls in long skirts, velvet, mood lighting. Old books and ink, hand-lettered typography, words on skin. Adele and I have this kink in common. I copied out the first six lines of the Iliad onto her back in the original Homeric Greek, and it was the most peaceful, zen experience I have ever had on a spanking shoot. As the minutes ticked by, no-one spoke a word, PWP moved around us quietly snapping photos, I think she and I both entered a kind of subspace. There was an element of psychological bondage to it; she had to stay perfectly still, or the work would be ruined. And I entered a trance-like state as I lost all my awareness of the camera, and focussed on finishing the calligraphy as quickly and neatly as possible.
I don't know what story these images might tell. Perhaps we are lovers, or witches; perhaps I'm an artist decorating her for some sort of show, or perhaps she's my submissive and I've set her the challenge of stillness and obedience. Perhaps we are students in some strange alternate universe where punishment lines are written not on paper, but on skin.
When AJ sent me the edited photos to look at, my jaw dropped. They are heartbreakingly gorgeous, just as dreamlike and evocative as I had hoped. PWP did an amazing job with these photos, and AJ more than did them justice in post. As I emailed Girl on the Net to let her know they were ready for copywriting, the scenario started to take shape in my head.
This gallery is a visual poem; a lyrical, abstract dream sequence exploring the sensuality of ink on skin. Inasmuch as there's a plot behind them, it's this: Adele must lie still while I write the text on her. Maybe she's my lover and I just like setting challenges for her. Maybe I'm a witch using body-writing to cast a spell. Maybe writing lines on her is my punishment. I wasn't sure, but one thing was clear: if Adele moved, smudging the lettering, she would get a cane stroke for every error.
Girl on the Net took this idea and ran with it. I love the scene description she came up with.
Two topless women are engaged in a sensual game: one plays the canvas and the other the artist. Adele Haze lies on cushions, exposing her breasts and bare back - and it's the latter that her lover will write on. Pandora Blake uses black ink and a brush to adorn Adele with intricate Greek lettering.
As Pandora's calligraphy winds around Adele's gorgeous curves, Adele must stay completely still, hardly breathing to avoid nudging Pandora as she writes her lines. In a Victorian school, ink smudges would mean a punishment for the writer. Here, the responsibility to avoid error falls on the writing surface. Pandora weaves her spell in words, and the magic of the moment mustn't be broken. For each smudge, Adele will get a stroke of the cane.
When the text is complete – the first few lines of Homer's 'Iliad' – Pandora carefully examines her work, stripping Adele naked so she can admire the slick black script that covers her body. Afterwards Adele bends naked over the punishment bench in the Scriptorium, exposing every inch of her bare skin. Pandora's found some smudges, and every error earns Adele a hard cane stroke.
Each cold cane stroke makes Adele yelp, biting her thumb to hold back her cries. But after three strokes the punishment is over, and Pandora can step back to admire her work – the neat black lines of text curving round Adele's beautiful body, and the vivid red welts left by the cane.
Lots of giggling and silliness during the shooting of "The Other School". Includes yard bunnies, the chumble blanket, skirts blowing up in the wind, false starts, the logistics of shooting a five-person improvised scene with only two cameras, and Paul accidentally only giving Pandora five-of-the-best! This was a really fun shoot - Maddy, Christy and Alex are all great fun to be around, and the three of them together are a recipe for cute business. It was also lovely to have Alex's boyfriends Paul Kennedy and Rafael Gamboa behind the camera, helped out by Christy's daddy ATP when Paul was performing. The connections and friendships on set made the whole thing feel very safe and relaxed. I love my porn family.

Obviously, this plan ends badly for Pandora and I, and in my nervousness as we wait to be caned I engage in a lot of excessive anxious hair twirling and the two of us whisper about our fears of what will happen to us next. We're then interrupted by the stern voice of Mr. Kennedy ordering us in.
We filmed this little bit in just a couple of minutes, but it had a strong effect on both Pandora and I. When it comes to school type scenes, we share a lot of the same kinks, and this moment really played into it for both of us. Apprehension, formality, sternness, the bond between those being punished together... all these things were spot on for both of us. I remember after we filmed this bit, Pandora turned to me and said "Well, that's most of my school kink summarized in two minutes".

When Girl on the Net started to help with the blogposts about our new scenes, I immediately felt like a weight had been lifted. I didn't realise how draining it was to promote my own films - particularly the ones I was in - until I no longer had to do it. But sometimes it turns out I still have something to say, and our latest film, The Other School, is one such case. I liked what Girl on the Net had to say about it - but I hope she doesn't mind if I add my own comments, too.
Girl on the Net: Ouch, ouch, ouch. I winced at every single cane stroke in this video (and there are plenty of them to wince about!). After sneaking out of school, naughty schoolgirls Pandora Blake and Alex Reynolds are in serious trouble. Not only do they both have to bend over for a cold caning, but each girl is made to stand and watch while the other is punished. I felt a certain solidarity in wincing at Alex's cane strokes, because Pandora, standing in the background, was wincing right along with me.
Pandora Blake: I certainly was! Alex already had a very sore bottom by the time we came to film this scene, and this was definitely one of those instances where my director self felt guilty for being responsible for my friend getting punished. Just like Maddy and Christy in this film, in fact. They play the two schoolgirls from the more modern, relaxed school, who get away with only detention after encouraging me and Alex to play truant with them.
Girl on the Net: ;It's not just Pandora and Alex who are in for a beating - this video has four totally gorgeous spankees, all in some way responsible, and all in for a share of the punishment. Maddy Marks and Christy Cutie play the troublesome friends whose bad influence tempted the other girls to play truant, and the always excellent Paul Kennedy plays the firm but fair teacher.
Pandora Blake: I loved the idea of a story based on four schoolgirls from two different schools: one regular high school, where Maddy and Christy are allowed to wear cute uniforms, short skirts, hair bows and heels - and the much stricter school across the park, where discipline is still severe and old-fashioned, with corporal punishment administered to naughty schoolgirls behind closed doors. For me, the hottest thing about school punishment is the horror of it - the idea that it's the worst thing that could possibly happen, and so humiliating that you would never talk about it in front of your friends from a more lenient school. Which is why Maddy and Christy don't realise how much trouble they're causing until it's too late...
Girl on the Net: When they see how harshly their friends are being dealt with, Maddy and Christy intervene, and request that they receive a share of the punishment. Missing the last lesson of the day to go and have fun was their idea, after all - so it's only fair.
Their selflessness is admirable, and headmaster Paul Kennedy is impressed by their honesty and courage. He agrees to split the punishment between all four schoolgirls. After each girl has received her punishment, she steps back to the wall – bare bottom still on show, of course – and the others gather round to hold hands and comfort her.
I'm not sure, personally, what I would prefer: twelve cane strokes over my knickers in front of an audience of just one, or six cane strokes on my bare bottom but in front of three of my friends. What do you think? I like the idea of crowding together after a shared caning, comparing marks and comforting each other, but at the same time I think in front of others I tend to try and muffle my squeals, and act far more stoic than I'm feeling inside.
Pandora Blake: There's certainly a difference between Alex's full-blooded squeals when it's only me watching, and her more restrained reactions once Christy and Maddy are present. To be honest, I don't know if I'd feel guilty or grateful if my friends decided to rescue me by volunteering to share my punishment. Fewer strokes sounds good - but if I went to a very strict school and my friends went to a more relaxed one, I'm not sure I'd want them to see what went on behind closed doors. It would be embarrassing enough to have to bend over and bare my bottom for a caning – never mind doing so in front of my friends who weren't used to this method of discipline.
Girl on the Net: So did Christy and Maddy do the right thing? Pandora and Alex seemed pretty grateful. At the end of the scene there's a gorgeous shot of all the girls' bottoms lined up in a row – cane marks burning bright red against their pale skin. The marks look painful, but it's hard to forget that the punishment would have been twice as bad if it weren't for their friends' intervention.
Headmaster Paul Kennedy makes it clear that he's proud of Christy and Maddy for taking responsibility and owning up to their part in the mischief. But what would you do in that situation? I confess tend to shrink from the cane – it terrifies me in a way most implements don't – so I suspect I'd have kept schtum, maybe buying my mates a drink later to say sorry for their sore bottoms. On the other hand, I do have a pretty sizeable crush on Paul Kennedy, so perhaps I'd be tempted to sneak into the gym and see if I could take six hard cane strokes from him. How about you?
Behind the scenes during the filming of Donna Draper's Secretary. Out-takes and out-of-character chatter as Pandora, Vix and Nimue discuss the perils of being over-ambitious, plan their Mad Men dialogue and negotiate the caning. Vix demonstrates her skill at remembering her mark, and shows off her famous poise (not including getting over excited while bending over in heels and nearly falling on her arse)!
The nearly-falling-over is definitely my favourite bit of this - not only because of the hilarious way Vix sways back and forth without moving her feet, but because the reason she lost her balance in the first place was that she was cracking up and slapping her thigh with delight, cackling "I love my life". I can't think why; all Nimue had said was that we could see her cane stripes through her sheer knickers. Perfectly normal observation if you ask me!
There are some things that are just hard-wired into my brain as sexiness triggers: words which will make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, or give me that gut-punch of arousal that is almost impossible to describe. One of those things happens in our latest video, and I want to keep playing it over and over.
Donna Draper – a twist on Mad Men's Don Draper – is a ruthlessly strict boss. Played by Pandora Blake, Donna Draper takes no shit whatsoever from her secretary Vix Vixxxen. These two have an amazing dynamic in this caning scene – from Pandora's brusque instructions, “Stop talking right now.” to Vix's sassy and insubordinate retorts – everything about this relationship crackles with hotness.
Pandora's dressed in a tailored suit and tie, every inch the authoritative boss. Vix is dressed in a tight black skirt, hold-up stockings and sheer blouse: the perfect sexy secretary. But her eye-rolling, smart-mouthed counterpoints to Pandora's reprimands show that she's not one to take correction meekly, and I love the way she insists on disagreeing with her boss, even after she's been given six firm strokes of the cane.
There are some sparkling moments of recognition here – the homage to Mad Men in lines like “You're a woman, and you're lucky to have this job,” as well as the question “Are you married?” which almost had me phoning the employment tribunal. I love the way Donna Draper has the attitudes of a 1950s boss, but Vix is a much more souped-up version of Peggy Olsen: she stubbornly maintains her opinion, even when being given a secretarial caning for her attitude.
Storytelling is sexy. Whether it's written, audio, or dramatised on screen, storytelling can make the difference between something that's hot while you're watching it, and something that stays with you for a long time afterwards.
When I write the blogs for Dreams of Spanking, it's always important to pick the right key phrases so that people can find scenes during search. Judicial caning, hand spanking, over the knee, etc – it means that everyone knows what they'll get if they click through, and also serves to get people horny. If you're anything like me then the phrase 'over the knee' probably conjures instant hot mental images, so if a scene involves that kind of punishment I'll make sure to be clear about it.
But the problem with this kind of directness is that there are lots of other more nuanced things that might be particularly erotic, but that aren't as instantly recognisable. Let's face it – lots of people search for 'six strokes of the cane' but fewer people search for 'depersonalised punishment' or 'endurance punishment'. That's where storytelling comes in.
Depersonalised punishment is a really interesting thing to explore – the idea that someone is receiving a beating because they have to rather than because they specifically deserve it. Rituals and ceremonies are both great vehicles for this: the punishment can be impersonal because it's not an individual need but part of a greater story.
Our new film, The Clone's Training, is sci-fi porn that fully explores this concept. Clone number eight – played by the gorgeous David Weston – is being drilled in the nuance and detail of the behaviour of his progenitor, the Crown Prince. Identical genetically, the clone and the Crown Prince are impossible to tell apart just by looking. Birthmarks and scars have all been faithfully reproduced, and the clone now needs to perfect his behaviour so he can infiltrate the royal family and 'become' the prince.
Instructor Pandora Blake gives firm and strict directions: stride purposefully, keep your chin up, hand behind your back. Every movement, in other words, must match the Prince's own gestures. And, of course, he must also be marked so that any blemish on his body matches exactly the ones on the Crown Prince.
A punch to the hip should replicate a bruise the Prince sustained, but to truly fool the medical scanners, clone number eight will have to have a six stroke judicial caning, just as the military Prince received only the day before...
You don't often see sci-fi porn, probably because most people associate it with either huge budgets or crap special effects. But there's a wealth of hot potential in science fiction, and you don't need CGI to make the concept work. Dystopic worlds in which individuals must behave a certain way. 1984-style future societies where citizens unquestioningly obey. And, of course, the deliciously sexy possibilities of armies of identical human-looking robots (I'm looking at you, Battlestar Galactica, with your sexy Cylons) and cloning technology.
This film plays on the clone scenario to dish out an incredibly clinical, depersonalised punishment. While many will watch this because they just love caning stories, others will be aroused by the impersonal nature of the punishment itself. The medical officer and instructor, played by Pandora, is concerned only with shaping clone number eight into as close a copy of the Prince as possible. As a consequence, when she strikes him with the cane it's not in anger or lust, but with a calculated necessity. And when he bends over to receive the strokes it's not because he feels he deserves them, it's because he is so used to obedience that it doesn't occur to him to question why he has to go through this. He just knows he must fulfil his destiny.
When you've watched The Clone's Training, if you're after more porn with amazing stories, it's well worth exploring Dreams of Spanking's 'sci-fi and fantasy' tag. The Royal Wedding is an audio story about a medieval princess, featuring an amazing public flogging which – again – is an impersonal ritual, but has more significance when told from the perspective of the princess who endures it. I also really like 'Psychic Weapon C' – another sci-fi porn story, but here the pain is used as a means to extract information. It's not quite as clinical, because the victim is actively fighting against the beating, but the fact that it's administered by henchmen makes it – in my opinion – an awesome example of pain being dished out as a matter of unflinching necessity.
So that's why storytelling is sexy – it's not just about a simple act, it's about the before and after, the build up and the tension. I could watch any scene in which a beautiful guy gets six of the best, and be delighted to have seen it, but the story turns it into something I think about for a long time. Not least because I can't help imagining exactly what happened to clones one through seven...
A while ago Pandora and I were discussing the best positions for caning. She told me that one position is usually the most popular among Dreams of Spanking viewers: "bend over and touch your toes.'
Whether it's the view of someone's bottom, vulnerable and exposed, or the feeling of your own bum stretched tight and waiting for the crack of the cane, somehow there's something about this particular position that's incredibly arousing.
If you're one for whom the phrase 'bend over and touch your toes' sends filthy-hot shivers down your spine, you'll probably be a fan of our latest spanking film. Leia-Ann Woods plays a submissive secretary being trained by her cruel boss Thomas Cameron. She has been with him for over a week already - and is doing her best to remain obedient under the stress of his exacting regime.
He begins each day with an intrusive inspection, running his hands all over her, and examining the way she is wearing her tight-laced corset, tight pencil skirt, fully fashioned stockings and suspenders – a very traditional and deeply hot uniform for a BDSM submissive secretary.
As you'd expect, Mr Cameron is keen to find fault with poor Leia. She is subjected to twelve strokes every morning as a matter of course, simply to keep her on her toes - or touching them. Today, he finds six reasons to add additional strokes to her regular morning punishment, taking the total to an eye-watering eighteen. Leia tries not to show her fear as he tells her to assume the position for the cane.
Personally, I struggle with the touching-toes position. I love the feeling of vulnerability that it brings, being so exposed and so reliant on my own self-discipline - using my own strength of body and mind to hold the position so I don't topple over. But then the strokes fall, one after the other, and I wobble, and tense up, and grit my teeth, and it becomes harder and harder not to break position.
Touching my toes seems easy when I first do it, but as the pain accumulates and the heat and sting of the welts layering across my upturned bottom grow stronger, my muscles start to tremble and I worry that I'll either fall forward or – worse – involuntarily straighten up and earn myself extra strokes.
It's much easier if you're told to bend over a desk, the back of a chair, or even lie face-down on the bed to receive a beating. But then - as Leia-Ann's determined poise and Thomas Cameron's calm perfectionism show - a thorough caning isn't about what's easy, is it? It's about punishment.
I find it difficult to stay in position touching my toes at the best of times. Wearing a tightly laced corset, hobble skirt and high stiletto heels like Leia-Ann in this film, I would find it nearly impossible. Leia is justly famed among spanking fans for her grace and elegance, whether she is administering a thrashing or receiving one. Hands up who loves school? Well, school punishment scenes, at any rate. Even if you didn't enjoy your time at school, and dreaded getting detention when you were younger, there's something about school fantasy as an adult. Personally I think there's an irresistible appeal about both of our latest school-themed Dreams of Spanking updates.

I recently published a cold caning video in which I bent over for twelve hard strokes from Paul Kennedy. Paul is one of my favourite caners. He has a wonderful calm, stern manner which really puts me into the right headspace when we're roleplaying, and his use of the cane is expert, administering precisely calibrated, accurate strokes.

Oh god, that's actually getting worse, it's getting more painful by the second. Can I really take eleven more of these? What the hell was I thinking?
As it turns out, I could take them. It helped that we cut after six strokes to change James' shot, and I admit I was not at all disappointed to have a minute to catch my breath!
The first six strokes were hard to take. The second landed higher than is pleasurable for me, and I jumped up and clutched my bottom, relieved that this wasn't a scene where I had to be completely stoic. Reacting physically and vocally to a caning really helps me process the pain. The next four weren't as high on my bottom, and that made them easier for me to take.
After six strokes and a breather, my endorphins had kicked in. The last six therefore felt delicious. Deep, thuddy impacts that made me groan with satisfaction.
